Recipe: Chaga Mushroom Cookies

Get your healthy dose of Chaga in the form of tasty cookies! A quick and easy recipe for a snack filled with antioxidants and beta-glucans, which help boost the immune system.  In addition, Chaga is believed to play a role in fighting inflammation, lowering blood sugar, reducing blood pressure, alleviating arthritis and even preventing or slowing the progression of cancer.

The ingredients:

  • Oat Flour – 1 cup
  • Butter – 2 tbsp
  • Egg – 1
  • Honey/Agave – 1/4 cup
  • Vanilla Extract – 1 tsp
  • Cinnamon – 2 tsp
  • Ground Ginger – 2 tsp
  • Baking powder – 1 tsp
  • Chaga Mushroom Powder – 1 – 2 tbsp
  • Cacao Nibs (optional)

Method:

  • Pre-heat the oven to 180 degrees
  • Add all the ingredients (except Cacao Nibs) into your mixer
  • Prepare baking paper with oil or butter to prevent the cookies from getting stuck
  • Add the Cacao Nibs to your mixture
  • Scoop onto the baking pan and bake for 10 – 12 minutes
